Rue De Tokyo x MOOMIN

Rue De Tokyo is delighted to announce a truly special collaboration with the world renowned MOOMIN universe. This unique collection celebrates MOOMIN's 80th anniversary with exclusive, never-before-used artwork, creatively merged with the high-quality textiles and design classics from Rue De Tokyo.

Drawing inspiration from the earliest MOOMIN drawings, the craft concept encapsulates the unbridled joy and ease of creation. The artwork, featuring doodle-like line drawings, handwritten texts, and delicate scenes from the first stories, imbues each piece with a nostalgic and playful charm.

This project is a true celebration of friendship, craftsmanship, and nostalgia. The collaboration with MOOMIN allows us to blend our love for high-quality materials and Scandinavian design with the playful and heartfelt artwork that has touched generations. With styles for both men and women, crafted from premium materials the collection includes pure cotton poplin shirts, cotton twill overshirts and skirts, tencel shirts and pants, as well as caps, totes and fine cotton jersey tees and sweatshirts - all illustrated with the whimsical MOOMIN Craft artwork.

The MOOMIN Craft concept is inspired by the earliest Moomin stories, evoking the unbridled joy and ease of creating something original and unstandardized. The artwork has a scrapbook feel, featuring doodle-like line drawings and handwritten texts, offering a mischievous and nostalgic glimpse into the world of Moomin.
