§5. DELIVERY
(1) Products that are “in stock” are delivered within Denmark and the EU within 7 business days. Delivery outside the EU takes place within 14 business days.
(2) For products that are “sold out,” delivery time can be up to 8 weeks for delivery within Denmark and the EU. For delivery outside the EU, delivery time can be up to 10 weeks.
(a) If the customer orders multiple items, where one or more are on backorder, RUE DE TOKYO will wait to ship the order until all items are back in stock. In such cases, delivery time can be up to 8 weeks for customers in the EU and up to 10 weeks for customers outside the EU.
(3) Shipping costs depend on the customer's geographic location:

(4) RUE DE TOKYO cannot be held responsible for delays or failure to fulfill our obligations if the cause is beyond our reasonable control. This does not affect your statutory rights.
(5) The risk of loss or damage passes to the customer only when the item is delivered.
- (6) Orders to NorwayRUEDETOKYO.COM is VOEC-registered. This means we can ship orders where each item has a value under NOK 3,000 (excluding shipping) without additional Norwegian VAT.
- If the value exceeds NOK 3,000, the customer is responsible for paying VAT upon receipt. This rule came into effect on April 1, 2020.
(7) Taxes and duties
- Orders shipped to countries outside the EU must go through customs clearance, and it is the customer's responsibility to pay any local taxes and duties.
- For deliveries outside the EU, the customer is responsible for any customs, import, and handling fees.
- Please note that transport and customs costs related to refusal or cancellation of an order will be deducted from the amount refunded to the customer.
- For customers in the United Kingdom, VAT is not included in the prices. ruedetokyo.com.
